One Big Brainstorm!

Hoo-wah! Today's meeting produced a lot of ideas for activities. I'm listing them here so you can think them over and suggest what should be done first.

Fellowship:  
-Pet adoption/animal blessing
-Sledding/Tubing
-T-shirt party
-Game day
-Mudsledding
-Outdoor adventure
-Picnic

Service:
-Tie blankets to hospitals
-Alexandra House
-Nursing homes
-Camp Omega

Outreach:
-Feed My Starving Children
-Bring a friend to church day
-Community meal

Worship:
-Youth worship band
-God-sighting blogs
-Easter carolling
-Praise Team
-A.C.T. Acting/Worship & Skits

Fund-Raising:
-Car wash
-Youth garden
-Talent show/full production

First Post, Second Meeting

Welcome, everyone, to the YSLC blog! Pete will be assisting in running this thing, and I hope it'll turn out as good as I imagine it as. I'm not really sure how this thing will work :/ This is a new-ish thing for me but I'll be trying my hardest to make it awesome-tastic. Comment and tell me if there are any changes you want to be made and I'll get it done. Send me any pictures if you want them on the slideshow (that doesn't exist yet) of activities at FOC.

Just a reminder, there's a meeting this Sunday (January 8) from 10:30 to 11:30am in the Youth Center. Bring any ideas for the brainstorming session we're having. Look on the side bar at your right for any assignment updates, and that's where they'll always be!

...I'm looking at the email list and there are a LOT of you! 31 people total! :D That's awesome! Excited to see all of you again this weekend at the next meeting.
